GP care is changing for the better. As part of the roll-out of Slainte Care, GPs have been asked to identify, investigate, monitor and treat their patients with, or those who may be at risk of, chronic medical conditions.

The aim is to identify conditions earlier, prevent and/or reduce progression and ultimately reduce the amount of patients on outpatient waiting lists.

​

At present, we are inviting all of our over 70 year old patients in for a 'full NCT' twice a year and later in 2021 we'll identify our over 65s.
